Baptism and Confirmation
"...for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ." (Galatians 3:27)
We are delighted that you are considering baptism for yourself or your child and/or are considering joining the church through confirmation. Methodists baptise people of any age, including infants.
To arrange the baptism of a child, parents should contact the minister who will meet with them to discuss the meaning of baptism and plan the service. Baptisms usually take place during morning worship, but can be scheduled at other times as convenient.
Baptism and/or confirmation of adults also begins with contacting the minister who will arrange a short course of exploration into the things of faith. After successfully completing the course, adults are welcomed into the church usually during the morning service.
